It's too fast, too easy, right? But this is not the essence of affiliate marketing! So, if you are learning affiliate marketing and you want to know, "How long does it take to do affiliate marketing to make the first money?" So this is the wrong question! The exact question is: How long will it take me to become a successful partner?
How long is it really? To become a successful Affiliate Marketer requires three things:
1. YOUR METHOD
Which platform will you choose, and from which channel will you start affiliate marketing?
Many people choose social media sites, actively share links, advertise, and see results quickly. But is this really a sustainable method? I'm sure it is not. !
Social media is a great tool to promote and attract customers, but you don’t have real tools, so you will find results quickly, but you will not see long-term results. So which platform is best to join?
This is a website/blog!
Here you can dominate your content, you can easily earn passive income, and you can continue to make money through affiliate marketing! I have never seen a successful affiliate marketer without at least one website/blog (maybe a niche website or a reputable website).

2. WHAT IS YOUR NICHE?
Niche is also called the subject, field. So, what niche market do you choose for affiliate marketing? Niche is one of the most important factors in determining whether to become a successful marketing partner. why? The reasons are as follows: some problems. They are not very popular: no one searches for them on Google, and no one talks about them on social networks, forums, etc.
For example, You decide to create a niche page and write an article about Xbox360. However, many Xbox fans no longer use Xbox 360 and instead use the next-generation Xbox One. So if you fail to grasp the needs of the market and the tastes of users, then you are the first step to failure!
Another example: You find that many e-commerce websites have sellers who use sewing machines, and the proportion of people who like to sew at home is also relatively high, so start a sewing thread blog. Your goal is to promote your sewing thread through affiliate marketing!
Okay okay but... you don't have sewing skills, you never use a sewing machine. How long can you write on this topic? Absolutely not much!

- Are there affiliates and other bloggers who are interested / writing about that niche?
- Have enough people interested => You can do this through keyword research tools (Google keyword planner, Google Trend, or KW Finder …)
- You care / like that niche => If you want to read/write about your field, then you are interested in it.
- There are many related products and services => For information, product reviews,…
- Have at least one affiliate program => Without an affiliate program, there is no way to generate revenue.
3. YOUR TIME
The time you spend on the website/blog plays an important role in its success. If you only work one hour a day in affiliate marketing, be prepared, it may take you at least a year to see results.
The fact is, I work 10 hours a day, 59 days later I got my first $80 in affiliate marketing. But if you work hard and invest 4-8 hours a day, you can achieve success in 6 months or 1 year. This is an investment in your working time and commitment.
